When I started getting into design, I was amazed and overwhelmed by the portfolios of my more experienced peers and people in industry. It’s easy to feel this way when often the most visible work is from people with years of experience. What I didn’t see were the countless iterations that went into each of those websites—the long nights and forgotten versions that led to the current result. As a new designer, I would have loved to see examples of portfolios from when people were also breaking into the field. Let’s all share our early, potentially embarrasing work and continue to learn from one another :)
